I'm sure you have all heard the word "cleanse" and thought of some crazy protocol like drinking only lemon water with hot sauce, or a juice diet for 7 days straight; however, what most don't realize is that you can get a very effective detox by just following some simple rules for a few days. The idea behind a cleanse it to let the body take a break from digestion so it can work on repairing and cleansing itself. The easiest way to accomplish this is by eating foods that are easily digested so it doesn't have to work so hard IE: fruits, veggies, nuts, fish. Here are a few rules to apply:
Cut out ALL sugar
Limit caffeine
Avoid any white flour products
Increase fruits and veggies to approximately 75% of diet
Drink a ton of water
It sounds easy and it is. Try following these rules for at least three days and we guarantee you will have more energy and feel great!
